How to select an ergonomic leather office chair

Consider the seat height

Any office chair should have a seat height that is easily adjustable. Perhaps one with a pneumatic lever for adjustment is the easiest option to work with. Seat height of about 16” to 21” from the floor usually works best for many people. This will enable you have your feet flat on floor surface, with the thighs horizontal and the arms in an even position with desk height.

Depth and width of seat

Your selected leather office chair should have proper depth and width to offer support to any user in a comfortable manner. The standard width is usually 17 to 20”. The depth should be enough to allow you sit with your back against backrest of the chair leaving at least 2 or 4” between the seat and back of your knees. The chair should also have an adjustable forward or backward tilt.
