Then rinse the surfaces thoroughly with a sponge and the surface some time to dry. Scrub the surfaces with a 150 grit coarse sandpaper and vacuum to remove dust. Mask surfaces around boxes using painter’s tape.

Start with primer

Coat the surface with primer. If painting cabinet with a different color other than white, the primer may be tinted to match the top coat.

Painting

Now paint the doors, edges and one side. Paint drawer faces and other doors and sides and let them dry overnight. Sand the surface lightly using a 220 grit coarse sandpaper and vacuum the surface then apply another coat.

Replace pulls and hinges

Replace the pulls and hinges with new ones or use the old ones if you intended to use them. Before screwing drawer pulls from the inside, create pilot holes.

Attach doors

Get the doors positioned in the right opening direction. Screw the top hinges then followed by the bottom hinges.
